WHAT'S UP EVERYONE!! HAPPY TUESDAY TO YOU ALL!!
We are so incredibly excited to share this very long and amazing wedding blog post with you. It's been in the works for some time and today we finally get to reveal it to the world!!!
A few years ago we photographed a wedding for our couple Amanda & Dan who happened to have a really close friend in her bridal party who started following our work post their wedding. This beautiful couple is Rebecca & Mike immediately contacted us after their engagement with their thoughts of possibly having a destination wedding in England!! We were not only ecstatic about the opportunity but more honored than anything!! There's always something so special about documenting destination weddings. First, we get to go to a completely new location which really pushes us out of our comfort zone. Second, we get to document an entire wedding weekend or week. Most of our destination weddings take place over a 3-5 day period and we try to document it all. And lastly, we get to build such an incredible relationship with our couple that'll last a lifetime!!
So as the idea and dreams of the destination wedding became clearer and clearer, the decision was finally made and we were all heading to England!! Rebecca and Mike's wedding was going to be an intimate one but it was perfect. From the arrival at the Watergate Bay Hotel in Newquay, England to their awesome surfing lessons, sightseeing the beautiful Cornwall landscapes, and then their amazing wedding day followed by a Rock the Dress session. Not only was each day perfect, but we also got to experience the best of Cornwall!!
On the wedding day, we started preparations right at the Watergate Bay Hotel which is where everything was going to take place. After their ceremony, we headed to the Carnewas and Bedruthan Steps for a few portraits before heading back for dinner. Right after dinner, we had a perfect sunset so we headed out to the cliffs right outside the Hotel for a few more portraits before heading back to the party!! Following their wedding day, we spent the day at King Arthur's Castle in the little town of Tintagel Cornwall for their Rock the Dress photo shoot. The mix of clouds, wind, and rain really made it an exciting trip up the mountain; one only the four of us could remember but the result was just outstanding!!

We really don't know where to begin other than to say thank you!! Thank you guys for trusting us to capture this important weekend for you guys. The hospitality and generosity that you and your families shared with us really made us feel like we were family. The fact that you guys were willing to climb steps, get wet, muddy, and almost blown away just to get great photos is the exactly the motivation that pushes us to create something special every time and the reason we absolutely love what we do!! Thank you, both again and we not only wish you guys will cherish these moments forever but we wish you guys an incredible life and future together!! God Bless you both!!
