Pasta from Eataly Market
So for the first time in my life I cooked some real handmade pasta. Andrea showed up at my house the other day with a brown bag from this store she's been bragging about so much. It had huge lettering on the outside which read "Eataly is Italy" and inside there was something wrapped in more paper. When she told me what it was and I opened it up she had bought fresh handmade Spinach and Plain Linguine. There was some flower residue and on top laid the rolls of pasta. It wasn't even cooked yet and you can smell it. So anyways, we dropped it in some boiling water, it cooked and served it with olive oil and grated romano cheese. I have to say, it was some of the best pasta I've ever tasted. I normally eat whole wheat spaghetti when I do, but this was awesome. Anyways, I haven't gone to check out this store but from what I've heard its pretty crazy all the fresh and imported Italian foods they sell there. I definitely got to go check it out! If anyone decides to go its called Eataly in NYC.
