La Brigada Parrilla in San Telmo, Buenos Aires Argentina
Hey Everyone!!! So if you know me, you probably know I'm an avid steak eater and although I wish I ate it as frequently as I wanted to, I only reserve meat days for some great steaks!! However, on our trip to Argentina; I couldn't really avoid it. It was everywhere literally. We would see a butcher shop "carnicería" or a BBQ Grill "Parrilla" on every block!! So we had heard about this restaurant called La Brigada a while ago and was dying to go check it out. Low and behold it was still there, operating, and serving some of the best steaks in Buenos Aires. I'm probably not the only person to brag about this place, but when a restaurant's food is as good as this was along with our experience as a customer; I must brag some more!!!
The restaurant is located in this small section of Buenos Aires called San Telmo. The cobblestone streets and antique architecture truly give the location it's character. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, there isn't one part of the wall that doesn't display something. Whether it's bottles of wine, soccer jerseys, photographs, balls, autographs, everything and anything from people all over the world!! To top it off some sections of the floor are made of glass displaying their huge wine collection in the basement of the restaurant. It's truly impressive!!
We ordered a typical Parrilla and T-Bone steak which was honestly one of the best steaks I've ever had and the fact that our server cut the short ribs and steak with a spoon right in front of our eyes made the whole experience truly memorable!!! Right before we ordered our dessert which was a home made Tiramisu, our server Lorenzo took us for a little tour of the restaurant and we got to meet the humble owner, Hugo Echevarrieta.
So if you're ever in Buenos Aires, Argentina and love good food; I vouch that La Brigada will truly satisfy your cravings!!

Si usted me conoce, probablemente sabe que me encanta el asado y aunque me hubiera gustado comerlo con mas frequencia, solamente reservamos esos dias para unos buenos filetes!! En nuestro viaje a Argentina, no podiamos evitar ver estas exquisiteces. Estaba en todas parte. Encontrabamos carnicerias y parrillas en cada cuadra! Habia oido hablar de un restaurante llamado La Brigada hace un tiempo y nos moriamos por visitarlo. Cuando llegamos a Buenos Aires, fuimos en busca del restaurante y lo encontramos. Sirviendo las mejores carnes en Buenos Aires. Quizas no soy la única persona hablando acerca de este lugar, pero cuando la comida de un restaurante es tan buena, junto con nuestra experiencia, tengo que hablar un poco más!
El restaurante se encuentra en una pequeña sección de Buenos Aires llamada San Telmo. Las calles empedradas y su antigua arquitectura realmente le da un carácter original. Cuando entras en el restaurante, no hay una sola parte de la pared que no muestre algo. De botellas de vino, camisetas de fútbol, pelotas, fotografías, autógrafos, cosas de gente de todo el mundo! Para rematar, algunas secciones del piso son de cristal que muestra su enorme colección de vinos en el sótano del restaurante. Es verdaderamente impresionante!
Pedimos una Parrilla típica y un T-Bone, que verdaderamente era uno de los mejores bistecs que hemos tenido y el hecho de que nuestro camarero corto las costillas y carne con una cuchara justo en frente de nuestros ojos, hizo que la experiencia sea memorable ! Antes de pedir el postre, un Tiramisu, nuestro camarero Lorenzo nos llevó a dar un pequeño recorrido por el restaurante y nos presento al humilde propietario, Hugo Echevarrieta.
Así que si alguna vez visitas la hermosa cuidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina y te encanta la buena comida, yo altamente recomiendo La Brigada. En este lugar realmente vas a satisfacer sus antojos!
