Kristin & James Wedding at Holly Hedge Estate - New Hope, PA
Happy July 1st everyone, we're really thankful for having all of you follow our work on our blog and on our Facebook We're really excited to start this month off with a very special wedding we recently photographed. We headed out to Holly Hedge Estate in New Hope, PA for the day to capture Kristin & James Wedding. They came to us a little over a year ago to share all of their wedding details with us. When they told us their wedding was a Quaker Wedding and the ceremony was a little different than most weddings we've photographed; we were really looking forward to experience this with them. After sharing a day with them on their Engagement Session, we knew their wedding was going to be beautiful. In a Quaker Wedding, the couple doesn't have anyone specific marrying them and they simply believe that they are being married by God. During the Ceremony, all of their friends and family gather around the couple in a silent worship and express their feelings and emotions as it comes to them. It was truly silent and all you could hear are nature's sounds at this beautiful Estate in the middle of the forest. After the Ceremony had concluded, everyone who attended the wedding signed the Wedding Certificate as witnesses. It was definitely a unique and beautiful wedding and we're honored to have been there to capture it for them.
Once the party started, everyone got together to celebrate and boy did they celebrate!! Kristin and James had the rocking Slippery Band who played incredible live music for all their friends and family. Holly Hedge Estates is such a beautiful venue and every little corner has amazing photo opportunities so we ended the night taking some stunning photos of our newlyweds enjoying the final moments of their spectacular wedding day.
